Cash America has an internal pricing department that researches thousands of items, so we know what the item’s retail value was when it was new, what it sells for used and how to determine its condition (good, better, best). We test each item to ensure it is in good working condition, including, but not limited to, a visual inspection of the item as well as plugging it in, turning it on, and noting if any necessary accessories are included. And for jewelry, our specially trained coworkers authenticate the precious metal and any diamonds that adorn each piece.
