Cash America is a socially conscious company committed to the people and the neighborhoods in which we live and work. We provide a comprehensive giving program and strive to support as many organizations as possible that help to enhance the communities and people we serve.
Knowing that we do not have the means to support every worthwhile cause monetarily, we also give our time, energy and resources whenever possible through volunteer activities like welcoming home our troops, reading to elementary students, hosting internal fundraisers and more. These activities demonstrate our core values—the foundation of our company and our people.
Core Values:
We act with a servant’s heart
We strive for excellence
We bring honor to our team
We are family
We have fun
We have established several long-standing initiatives with national charitable organizations that focus on issues important to us. These organizations—our charities of choice—receive a large portion of our annual fundraising efforts:
We welcome solicitations from other certified nonprofit agencies throughout the United States, particularly those whose work is evident in areas served by Cash America. The “who,” “what,” “when,” “why” and “how” we support details are outlined below for your review.
We will consider opportunities to assist organizations whose mission and purpose are to provide programs or support for the following groups:
• Education/financial literacy for adults
• Public safety initiatives
• Families in need
• Natural disaster relief programs
• Our military and their families
Please know that Cash America receives many more requests for funding than we can support. A decision to decline a request does not imply that the applicant's program is not needed or valued, but rather that it does not fall within our giving guidelines or that funds/products are not available. We generally do not support the following:
• individuals
• religious organizations where the donation would be used solely for religious purposes
• fraternal, social, labor or alumni organizations serving a limited constituency
• organizations that fund other organizations
• organizations that align themselves with groups opposed to our industry
• recreational, sporting events or athletic associations
• organizations that discriminate based on age, race, religion, color, gender, disability, sexual orientation or veteran status
How To Request Donations:
If your organization meets the general criteria above, and you want to be considered for a charitable contribution, please provide the following information using the attached form. Only requests using this form and supported by written details will be considered.
• mission/purpose of your organization and its history, including geographic area served and number of individuals who you serve each year
• cost of project /description of project, including deadline
• use of contribution proceeds—operating expenses or capital fund
• proof of 501(c)(3) status or other certified not-for-profit status
Your request will be reviewed by a Contributions Committee that meets regularly. When a decision has been reached, we will notify you via mail whether or not your request has been approved and what, if any, the contribution amount will be—typically within 60 days from receipt of your request. If approved, we would welcome the opportunity to provide you with information about our company to ensure you have a deep understanding of our products and services, and our commitment to our customers.
Send the completed request form and any information related to the event or cause associated with the request to:
